MA/RI MGMA

The Massachusetts/Rhode Island Medical Group Management Association(MA/RI MGMA) is a professional organization for practice managers.

The purpose of the organization is to provide continuing education for its Medical Group Membership, assure representation of membership concerns regarding legislation at state and national levels, maintain avenues of communication with third-party payers of health service and other health care professionals, and provide a forum where members can discuss areas of mutual interest.

The term medical group practice organization as used herein shall mean an organized group of one or more licensed doctors with common facilities, or other related healthcare delivery organization actively engaged in the practice of medicine or dentistry, and which shall employ a person or persons in the active supervision or support of its business affairs.
The Board of Directors will consider other groups of professionals engaged in the delivery of health care services for membership on an individual basis.

Membership in the Massachusetts/Rhode Island Medical Group Management Association is open to persons who are actively engaged in or have an active interest in medical group practice organization. Membership in the national organization, Medical Group Management Association is encouraged but not required.
